"Je t'aime Laconia"

LHMS is saluting the 400th anniversary of Quebec with a variety of exhibitions and programs in 2008. "Je t'aime Laconia is an opportunity to celebrate French-Canadian culture in the Laconia area using personal stories and memorabelia from both the community and the museum's collection.
Like the music?! French-Canadian singer/songwriter Josee Vachon is coming to Laconia! Famous for her bilingual songs, Vachon provides the historical context for each of her selections. This family-friendly concert, to benefit LHMS's educational programming, is sure to please those of French-Canadian descent as well as all others! Concert- September 5th, 2008 at the Belknap Mill Society.

Sept 6- Laconia's Multicultural Market Day- this year's theme is a celebration of Quebec 400
